O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT seeks a Parts Counterperson to join our team at our Torrington Repair Facility. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast. The Parts Person will be responsible for inventory and order processing for construction equipment, trucks, and plant parts including fuels and lubricants, record keeping, warranty tracking, and purchase ordering.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in parts or inventory control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of inventory control and processing in a maintenance and repair shop

Nice To Haves
- Experience with heavy equipment and trucks preferred
- Experience using an online purchasing and inventory tracking system
Responsibilities
- Preforms audits of inventory & daily cycle counts
- Review inventory levels using reports
- Order parts from proper vendors using requisition list
- Provide support to technicians and supplies parts to the shop floor
- Take ownership of departmental morale, taking steps to enhance a positive work environment
- Take active steps to always ensure a clean/organized work environment
