About The Position

Our dealership is growing! We are looking to add to our parts department. We are seeking full time experienced dealership parts counter persons. The Parts Counterperson is a customer service and sales position that provides/sells parts to the Service Technicians and to retail parts to customers. Duties include: Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Assist technicians and service advisors to ensure accuracy of parts orders Order parts from online manufacturer systems. Pull purchases from stock. Handle parts returns and/or cores Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person. Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work well with the public

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in automotive helpful
• Body Shop Parts Experience extremely helpful
