About The Position

Our Parts Manager of 47 years is retiring , and as we always promote from within - We need a counter rep to replace our newly promoted counter rep! We have a high volume counter between preowned reconditioning and a growing customer base. We do not need dealership experience! Some parts or automotive experience is helpful - But we will completely train the person with the right characteristics! Pay will be based on experience and qualities - But it will be at or above market for the position ($15 - $20hr)- PLUS all candidates will be considered for future growth without our organization if hired! Benefits Health, dental insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Employee discounts Responsibilities Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order Receive payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization Qualifications Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment Strong interpersonal and time management skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Serpentini Auto Group has proudly been serving the Greater Cleveland region for over 40 years with our 6 locations in Strongsville, Medina, Orrville, Westlake, Tallmadge, North Olmsted and Willoughby Hills.
