About The Position

The Parts Counter / Warehouse Lead plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the parts department. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding team members in their duties, training personnel, efficient and accurate order fulfillment, assisting with accurate inventory control and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is not a manager or supervisor role but serves as the primary point of support and coordination of the team and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse. The Lead works closely with management on daily operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in parts counter sales and warehouse inventory, agriculture equipment, or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of parts operations and agricultural equipment components.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook, shipping software such as UPS WorldShip).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Must be able to travel training when needed.
  • Ability to work independently and assist others when needed.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks regularly.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers (walk-ins & phone) and internal customers with parts lookup and ordering.
  • Support after‑hours parts calls as scheduled.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality customer interactions.
  • Participate in shipping/receiving, order picking, staging, and stocking activities.
  • Assemble hydraulic hoses and operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Complete required paperw ork and data entry accurately.
  • Assist with maintaining proper inventory organization and cycle counts.
  • Assist management with addressing customer concerns, suggestions on operation improvement opportunities, and team workload.
  • Help train new team members on basic procedures and tasks.
  • Ensure daily operations follow company standards, policies, and safety practices.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas to support productivity and safety.
