About The Position
Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), your local Thermo King dealership, is hiring a Parts Counter Specialist to support our diesel and transport refrigeration shop. This is a Monday–Friday, 1st shift position offering monthly bonus potential, full benefits starting after 60 days, PTO accrual on Day 1, and long-term career growth. Requirements
- Automotive, truck, trailer, or fleet parts experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work overtime during busy periods
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the counter and over the phone
- Track, order, and reconcile parts inventory
- Distribute parts to service technicians
- Process invoices and quotes in MAS system
- Check in inventory and stock shelves
- Deliver parts to customers/vendors as needed
- Assemble OEM and customer parts
- Operate forklift to load/unload trailers
- Maintain organization and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
