About The Position

Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Parts Counter Representative at our location in Manassas, Virginia. We are looking for individuals with all levels of experience working at a vehicle parts counter or experience with vehicle/heavy duty equipment parts or repair. Requirements

• Occasional driving is required for this position.
• At least one of the following:
• Technical school degree in automotive or diesel repair
• Experience working a vehicle parts counter
• Experience working with vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs or parts
• Includes but not limited to cars, trucks, diesel, motorcycles, heavy equipment, and military vehicles
• Wholesale distributor experience

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong communication, customer service, and retail skills
• Understand inventory systems
• Knowledge of all makes of truck parts
• Keep accurate records of special-order parts and open tickets
• Ability to make service and parts recommendations based on inventory, service schedule, and pricing
• Commitment to safety in the parts department
• Occasional Driving required
