About The Position

Parts Coordinator Transdev in Norcross, GA is hiring a Parts Coordinator. The Parts Coordinator performs basic vehicle servicing, cleaning and fueling with limited supervision. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package of minimum $45,000 – Maximum $55,000 Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of parts room experience
  • Computer literate with strong attention to detail.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.)
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and stocking of diesel parts and supplies
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure timely parts availability
  • Source parts from vendors and negotiate pricing when necessary
  • Track and monitor backorders and expedite urgent parts requests
  • Maintain records of purchases, warranties, and vendor information
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of parts in the warehouse
  • Process invoices and ensure accuracy of billing and documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control for parts and supplies
  • Follow all safety and compliance standards related to parts handling and storage
