Requirements
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, and a team player
- Availability to work potentially Monday-Saturday
- Experience in retail or wholesale parts sales preferred
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Rey & Rey, CDK , or other automotive software is a plus (not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, courteous service to technicians, retail, and wholesale customers
- List and price parts on repair orders and counter tickets
- Write purchase orders for parts/sublet work; obtain management approval when necessary
- Price and list sublet repairs on repair orders
- Accurately input sales and losses into inventory system
- Maintain and track special-order parts; notify appropriate staff upon receipt
- Keep a customer backorder file updated
- Organize and maintain the special-order parts inventory
- Collect and tag defective parts for warranty claims
- Assist in scrapping parts held for factory claims
- Keep warranty return parts area clean and organized
- Participate in regular perpetual inventory checks
- Maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and technical bulletins
- Ensure work area is clean, safe, and organized
- Be proficient with parts catalogs and accurate parts location
