About The Position

Reporting into the Director of Partnership Activation, the Operations & Activation Intern will play a key role in supporting the execution of our matchday operations and fan engagement activities as they relate to Partnerships. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented, hands-on individual who is passionate about sports and creating memorable experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with our partnerships, operations, and events teams to help ensure smooth logistics, successful activations, and a top-notch fan experience.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and a passion for sports.
• Familiarity with event planning and operations, including coordinating logistics and working with vendors.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and problem-solving on the fly.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing matchday partnership operations, including pre-game setup, in-game logistics, and post-game breakdown.
• Provide on-site support for fan activations, promotional events, and community engagements.
• Coordinate with partners, vendors, and venue staff to ensure smooth event execution and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Help manage the logistics of promotional schedules and activation calendars, ensuring all elements are in place for each event.
• Assist in gathering and setting up equipment, signage, and materials needed for various club activations.
• Support the coordination of grassroots community events, from planning through to execution.
• Assist in documenting event processes and preparing post-event recaps to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
