About The Position

As a Partner Development Representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to recruit, enable and grow our ecosystem of Amazon Partner Network (APN) Startup partners. A primary responsibility of this role will be to onboard new startup ISV partners to APN and the Global Startup Program. The ability to identify, prioritize and build relationships with the most strategic of these partners is essential. You will need to focus on helping these partners build the proper foundation for a long term partnership with AWS. You will be eager to learn how to influence decision makers at the executive level, as well as the proven ability to interact with many stakeholders. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically, execute tactically and communicate clearly. Success criteria for this position will be heavily metrics driven, which will require contributing to the build out of a scalable process to manage a large volume of partners. About the team This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Requirements

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B Startup Software
  • Experience working with startup ecosystems or venture capital portfolios
  • Proven track record of identifying and developing high-potential business partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Proactively recruit and onboard high-potential startup partners to APN
  • Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement, technical and go-to-market requests.
  • Graduate startup partners to full Startup Partner Development Manager (PDM) coverage based on strategic fit and business potential
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to improve process and execution.
  • Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics.
