As a Partner Business Development Manager with Insight, you will actively build and strengthen relationships with vendor partners, facilitating collaborative activities and programs that result in positive sales growth. This involves working closely with partners to identify new opportunities, develop joint initiatives, and ensure mutual success. Along the way, you’ll be responsible for achieving sales targets and activity goals, including maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities. Regular communication of wins, losses, and new prospects to management is essential, as is tracking and reporting on performance to drive continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • 5-7+ years of related professional work experience and/or training.
  • 5+ years of related IT sales experience and vendor knowledge.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to engage top management and public groups.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with vendor partners to strengthen relationships, facilitating partnering activities and programs resulting in positive sales growth.
  • Meet sales and activity performance goals, including pipeline reports by opportunity. Communicate monthly summaries of wins, losses, inhibitors, and net-new opportunities to management.
  • Maintain direct communications with inside and field sales management, promoting collaboration with partner sales teams through face-to-face or virtual meetings.
  • Implement internally created call campaigns using business intelligence to identify new areas of opportunities. Track, measure, and report campaign success.
