Position Overview Under the guidance of the Director of Healthy Food Access & Choice, the Partner Agency Relationship Coordinator will help develop, improve, and implement agency relations related services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant field experience including work in social services, program development, and community organizing or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including comfortability speaking to large groups.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, organize work independently and meet deadlines via efficient time management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Ability to keep and maintain accurate records, exhibiting exemplary attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HHFB service area preferred.
  • Willingness to stay abreast of challenges of rural poverty.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Develops presentations and presents at county coalition meetings to educate and inform partner agencies of policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Conducts timely on-site visits to ensure partner agency compliance with standards and procedures established by all regulatory bodies; creates monthly schedule outlining upcoming and scheduled visits to partner agencies.
  • Conducts trainings, on-site interviews, and technical start-up assistance to identify and register new partner agencies as needed.
  • Prepares and maintains all written records and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Plans and executes annual agency partner conference.
  • Regularly captures client feedback and integrates into operations to improve customer service, experience, and impact on the community.
  • Identifies most impactful partner agencies and by maximizing those partnerships, increases HHFB's distribution to assigned counties.
  • Works cooperatively with Operations Team to ensure efficient distribution of product to partner agencies and their clients.
  • Monitors agency performance for compliance with organizational needs and requirements, including follow-up agency site inspections for corrective action.
  • Maintains updated agency documents to ensure agency compliance in preparation for scheduled and unscheduled audits.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the HHFB mission and to fighting to end hunger in South Carolina.
  • Displays a desire to work with culturally diverse populations using a compassionate, collaborative, and respectful approach.
  • Supports a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and communicating process and safety improvements.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures, including reporting all unsafe acts and behaviors, safety hazards, incidents, or accidents immediately.
  • Acknowledges that HHFB team members are considered emergency responders and may be called in to perform regular or emergent duties in instances of a federal, state or locally declared emergency.
