About The Position

Conducts all necessary kitchen duties to include but not limited to food preparation and clean up.

Requirements

• This position requires a High School diploma or GED.
• Food handling and preparation experience is required, preferably in a social service setting.
• DOH food certification needed.
• Must have he ability to establish workload priorities.
• Physical ability to perform the essential job functions is needed.
• In addition the Cook performs any duties as required to meet the new needs of the position as they arise.
• The agency reserves the right to review and change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises.

Responsibilities

• Prepares three meals daily which meet nutritional guidelines.
• Maintains food safety and security.
• Assists in warming and preparing meals.
• Sets up kitchen and meal areas.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen and meal area.
• Monitors food inventory.
