About The Position

Penn State Scranton, Department of Athletics, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part Time Track and Field Coach. The Coach is responsible for all program operations including but not limited to: Recruitment and retention Player development (athletic, academic and personal) Practice and competition planning and implementation Team events under the direction of the Athletic Director with the opportunity to have an Assistant Coach CPR/First Aid Certification Required This part-time position requires strict adherence to The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), and NCAA Division III rules. Hours vary between competition season and recruiting season and will vary based upon team schedule, expected between 15 to 30 hours per week.

Requirements

  • CPR/First Aid Certification Required
  • strict adherence to The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), and NCAA Division III rules
  • valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks
  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
