Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Temporary Lab Assistant on the Gainesville campus. This position will be responsible for maintaining and trouble-shooting instrumentation issues, preparing reagents for labs; organizing and preparing labs for instructional meetings, organizing the chemistry storeroom; supervising students in labs, storeroom and prep room.
Requirements
- General laboratory safety, general undergraduate chemistry laboratory knowledge.
- B.S. or B.A. in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- Undergraduate lab experience as a student.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and trouble shoot instrumentation.
- Reagent prep.
- Prepare Laboratories for additional sections and course offerings.
- Organize chemistry storeroom.
- Supervise students in labs and storeroom.
- Grade student lab reports.
