As a Part Time Teller within PNC's Retail Branch Banking organization, Reynolds-Hill Branch office you will be based in Toledo, OH. The role involves delivering a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. It includes processing a variety of customer interactions, educating customers on alternatives for financial interactions, identifying banking opportunities and making appropriate referrals to branch staff. The teller will also perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products, educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources, and apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems. Adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, and ensuring teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately are also key aspects of the role. PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction, and able to leverage information for customized solutions. They are also expected to manage risk effectively, adhering to and supporting PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
Roles at this level typically do not require a university / college degree, high school diploma, GED, or any significant experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties.
Prior experience is not required.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Delivers a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
Processes a variety of customer interactions.
Educates customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions.
Identifies banking opportunities during the customer interaction and refers as appropriate.
Identifies opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources.
Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer's problems.

Ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.

Part-time employees will accrue vacation time based on hours worked (including overtime) in the current calendar year to be used after 90 days of service.
