As a Part Time Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Frederick, MD. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. The role involves delivering a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. This includes processing a variety of customer interactions, educating customers on financial alternatives, identifying banking opportunities, and making appropriate referrals to branch staff. Tellers perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products, educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources, and apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems. Adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, and ensuring efficient and accurate completion of teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are also key aspects of the role. PNC employees are expected to be Customer Focused, understanding customer needs and satisfaction, and Managing Risk, effectively assessing and managing risks associated with business objectives and activities.

Requirements

• Roles at this level typically do not require a university / college degree, high school diploma, GED, or any significant experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Prior experience is not required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Be Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
• Manage Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
