If these questions resonate with you, then we invite you to consider joining our Bachelor of Applied Science in Teacher Education (BASTE) Department.  We value collaboration with staff, faculty, and students, and are dedicated to guiding students towards the achievement of their academic and career goals.   Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Teacher Education Adjunct Professor positions. This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach late afternoon, or evening hours. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8), K-12 Administration & Supervision, K-12 Curriculum & Instruction or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of relevant K-12 teaching experience.
• Experience with online teaching modalities.
• Experience implementing culturally responsive pedagogy using multiple instructional methods, formats, and assessments.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience mentoring and/or supervising teacher candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
• Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department and/or college committees.
