About The Position

The Stylist is tasked with performing hair and nail care procedures (as licensed) necessary for the general well-being and comfort of residents and employees. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have knowledge of/experience in the following: Strong proficiency in technology and systems management - Office Suite (Microsoft), and scheduling systems Proficient interpersonal / customer service skills - Able to communicate effectively, with team members, and residents, and members of the community. Represents the organization in a professional and engaging manner

Requirements

• Required to have current Barber or Cosmetology Operator's License in the State of Pennsylvania
• Strong proficiency in technology and systems management - Office Suite (Microsoft), and scheduling systems
• Proficient interpersonal / customer service skills - Able to communicate effectively, with team members, and residents, and members of the community

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sterilization and sanitation in their area according to State law
• Maintain the service room in a neat, clean order
• Schedules service appointments and take payments for services through the point-of-sale system
• Communicate product needs with the Lead Stylist or Salon Services Manager as appropriate
• Communicate possible health care and safety needs to the coordinators of the appropriate levels of living
• Responsible to return personal belongings (i.e. eyeglasses, hearing aids) to the resident being serviced
• Follow emergency procedures and responds rapidly and appropriately to emergencies, ensuring the safety of the residents and team members
• Follow proper procedures and promote safe work practices to maintain a safe working environment
• Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure a productive working environment
