Requirements
- Pursing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar discipline
- Ability to work 16-20 hours weekly during the academic year
- Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
- Strong communication skills
- Well organized with effective time management skills
- Graduation date Spring of 2027 or later
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
- This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas

Responsibilities
- Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, efficiency, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.
- Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
- Develop plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing.
- Assist in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans
- Provide day to day shop floor support for Transmission departments.
