About The Position
Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a member of our team, you'll be operating the registers or other machinery, stocking our shelves, keeping our stores looking their best, and serving our customers. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour and requires fewer than 30 hours of work per week. The role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall shopping experience, including processing customer purchases, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring that products are stocked and displayed properly. You will be expected to collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to your direct leader while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a dynamic work environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to assist customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases efficiently and providing exceptional customer service. This includes assisting customers with their shopping experience, providing feedback to management on products and inventory, and participating in inventory counts. As a Stocker, your responsibilities will include stocking shelves, rotating products to ensure freshness, following merchandising planograms, and organizing new inventory. You will also operate machinery and adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store. The ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights is essential for the Stocker position.
