About The Position

Luther Village, an active 55+ retirement community located in Arlington Heights is currently looking for individuals who have a positive attitude, are a team player and enjoy working with seniors. Candidate should be flexible to work shift(s) Tuesday through Saturday, 4-8pm Customer service is a priority and attention to detail is required. Responsible for taking accurate dinner/drink orders and utilizing a computerized point of sale system, and be able to communicate accurately with the kitchen. Restaurant experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Position pays $15.60 hour.

Requirements

High school-level English reading, writing, and communication skills are required.
Good customer service, organization of orders and tables, and attention to detail are required.
Positive attitude, professional image, team player, personable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
Extensive walking and standing for extended periods of time, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Candidate should be flexible to work shift(s) Tuesday through Saturday, 4-8pm
