About The Position

Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at our Billerica, MA location. The ideal candidate will be observant, customer-service oriented, and capable of responding calmly to security situations while following established procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect security threats
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems
• Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and guests
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance issues
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
