About The Position

Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at our Billerica, MA location. The ideal candidate will be observant, customer-service oriented, and capable of responding calmly to security situations while following established procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect security threats
Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems
Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and guests
Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance issues
Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
