About The Position

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for an Assisted Living Facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian seeking flexible, low-hour consulting work that makes a meaningful impact on resident wellness and quality of care. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).
  • Experience reviewing menus and conducting audits in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable using electronic documentation and menu systems.
  • Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reviewing menus and conducting audits in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.
  • Conduct periodic kitchen audits to assess food service operations, sanitation, and safety practices.
  • Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete periodic nutrition assessments as needed.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to provide recommendations that enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
