About The Position

The Part- Time Receptionist performs a variety of tasks related to answering phones, greeting company visitors and performing other administrative tasks. Set schedule for this role is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from12:30-5:00. This is a temporary role until the end of August, possibly longer. Requirements

  • Previous office reception and computer applications experience
  • Decision making, research and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Time management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independently
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization
  • MS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook experience
  • Multi-line phone system experience

Nice To Haves

  • Lync experience is desirable
  • Retail or customer service industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from main switchboard
  • Forward incoming faxes to the appropriate recipient
  • Greet incoming guests and appointments to the reception area with a professional, friendly DAVIS welcome
  • Perform administrative tasks such as collating and making books
  • Complete data entry as requested
  • Assist other departments in completing mailings and other administrative tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform responsibilities with excellence in service, integrity and building relationships as exemplified in DAVIS core values
