The Memory and Aging Lab is hiring a Research Coordinator to manage community-based subject recruitment of ethnoracially varied samples, subject testing, and some data acquisition and analysis. The position offers opportunities for co-authorship of manuscripts and conference presentations, participation in research talks, and auditing of courses. This is a part-time, fixed term position. This is a 1 year assignment to start with the chance to renew annually based on performance, research goals, and/or mutual agreement. The expected workload for this role is 19 hours/week. Research in the Memory and Aging Lab focuses on episodic memory and its underlying neural activity in adults across the lifespan. We are particularly interested in how individual difference factors such as habitual sleep quality, depressive symptoms, and psychosocial factors related to racial/ethnic demographics contribute to memory functioning. The lab uses behavioral, EEG, and fMRI methods. Primary duties include community-based participant recruitment and screening through in-person, online, and phone methods, clinical assessments and cognitive testing of young, middle aged, and older participants. Secondary duties include data collection using EEG and MRI methods, some data analysis, and coordination of research activities with other lab personnel.
