About The Position

As a Part-Time Pastry Cook , you will be responsible for scaling, production, and execution of pastry mixes, fillings, individual desserts, frozen desserts, cookies & bars, pies & cakes, and doughs & breads. You will be expected to have excellent time management to ensure the high quality of each dessert item. The Pastry Cook maintains consistent management of the ice cream bar, as well as the production of muffins and cookies, ensuring all items meet established quality and presentation standards.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Must continue to expand culinary ability
  • Must possess a sense of desire to satisfy members' requests
  • Motivated to get the job done, no matter what obstacles appear
  • Must be service-oriented, possess great attention to detail, and have a strong desire to succeed
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to spend long periods on your feet
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on production demands is required.
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • ACF Certification is preferred but not required
  • Certification of culinary training or secondary-level education is preferred, but not required
