About The Position
The Cumberland School Department is seeking personnel to work with our kindergarten students. The job will involve the following duties/responsibilities:
Requirements
- Teacher Assistant/Paraprofessional Certification & Parapro Exam (grade 461 or above) or Associates or Bachelors degree with education related courses.
Responsibilities
- Assist in classroom duties under the supervision of the classroom teacher
- Assist and supervise kindergarten students during lunch and recess
- Escort students to the lunchroom
- Assist students in moving to different locations within the school building (ie: bathroom)
- Other duties as may be assigned by the classroom teacher, building administrator and/or the Superintendent of Schools.
