Laguna Eyes Optometry has state-of-the-art technology that includes Optovue Solix OCT, Myopia Master, Medmont Pro topographer, Optos Daytona and many others, which provides a thorough comprehensive evaluation for our patients. Our team of skilled and empathetic professionals is dedicated to providing exceptional care to every patient. The practice continues to expand its patient base in specialty lenses, myopia management for children, and neuro-optometric care. What you'll do: This position offers up to 1-2 days a week, where you can expect to perform comprehensive, medical, and contact lens exams on about eight to twelve patients daily. Ensuring individualized and personalized care to every patient, you’ll do a complete eye health evaluation which will include diagnosing disease, promoting premium eyewear products based on the patients needs, completing the documentation and properly coding your charts, and ensuring specialty contact lenses are order to your specification. You’ll also be asked to assist with staff management and training. You will be provide the training and guidance to ensure your growth. Who is the ideal candidate: The associate doctor we are looking for is highly organized and success driven as an Optometrist. We are looking for someone with personal ties to South Orange County, with a minimum of 3 years experience and the ability to participate in patient recruitment and development through referral sources in the community and local physicians! The right candidate will have the opportunity to provide concierge care and develop a subspecialty (contact lens, vision therapy, dry eye, medical) within the office while also growing a Southern Orange County home base and business with potential for future ownership opportunity. Requirements

  • Active optometry license in the state of California
  • 3+ years of Optometry experience
  • Personal ties to South Orange County
  • Active liability insurance
  • Medicare and VSP Certified
  • EyeMed Certified
