About The Position

The Highland County YMCA is seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Part Time Membership Experience staff member. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for all members and guests, ensuring they have a positive and engaging experience at our facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and membership software.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance.
• Passion for health, wellness, and community engagement

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service or membership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with membership inquiries, registrations, and renewals both in person and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate member records and process payments as needed.
• Provide information about YMCA programs, services, and facility amenities.
• Support the membership team with administrative tasks and daily operations.
• Ensure the front desk and membership areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Address member concerns or direct them to appropriate staff for resolution.
• Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere consistent with YMCA values.
