The primary focus of this position is to effectively support volunteers (Bigs) OR families (Youth and their Caregivers) in all aspects of their mentoring experience in the Community Based program. The Community Based program matches youth with a caring adult mentor who they will meet with 2-4 times per month engaging in low-cost activities they are both interested in trying together. This position will call, email, text or meet in person with either the Big or the Little and their caregiver on a consistent basis to support in coaching, youth development principles, youth safety, and conflict management to ensure the relationship is safe, supportive, and intentional. This position spends the majority of their time in outreach and communication (primarily calls, email, and text) with their caseload. BBBSTC is seeking adaptable and enthusiastic individuals dedicated to delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining meticulous documentation. We are seeking candidates who are available during evening and weekend hours. In addition, this position will support and staff BBBS program events throughout the year to meet with participants. These events are scheduled in advance for planning purposes.
