About The Position

Assists with routine maintenance, plumbing, electric, HVAC and carpentry repairs Ensure equipment, tools and supplies are properly cleaned, stored and secured Ensure maintenance requests are handled in timely fashion Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required with some experience in construction/maintenance activities as related to buildings and grounds.
• Possession of a valid and appropriate driver's license.
• Some knowledge of the standard practices in construction/maintenance activities as related to building construction.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral/written instructions.
• Skill in the use and care of maintenance related tools and equipment.
• Candidates must be comfortable working within a secured facility environment

Nice To Haves

• prior experience in such settings is strongly preferred
