Job duties of the Georgia Aquarium Diver I, Dive Maintenance are Part Time and specific to Working Dives. The diver will assume a role of working diver under the regulations for commercial diving as outline by OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart T. Commercial-oriented diving tasks shall include, but not be limited to deployment, moving and retrieving of heavy objects; using heavy hand or power tools; the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aquarium exhibits; the application and repair of underwater coatings and liners, and; other tasks NOT exempt from OSHA's commercial diving regulations. Further, the Diver I, Dive Maintenance shall be required to work with a diverse team of divers in the implementation of dive safety procedures and guidelines ensuring safety at the facility and offshore.
