About The Position

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Waterfront Thrift Store Management Team, the Maintenance Associate ensures the store is clean at all times in accordance with the guidelines listed below. Job Qualifications: Christian Commitment : Must exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values and possess high levels of ethics, honesty and character. Must be willing to sign the WRM Core Values form. Education/Experience : One or more years related experience and/or training in area of maintenance and/or commercial cleaning. Must have the ability to form effective working relationships with supervisors, clients, other staff members and the public.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensures the sidewalk and parking lot are free of weeds and debris.
• Ensures all glass is clean and free of fingerprints.
• Performs high and low dusting.
• Keeps restrooms stocked at all times.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and in good working order.
• Report items in need of repair to Store Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Empty trash cans throughout the store.
• Report low inventory of store supplies.
• Ensure great customer service at all times.
• Greet all customer entering the store and any that come within 5’.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per WRM guidelines.
• Use wet floor cones in mopped locations.
• Practice the established rules for ladder safety.
• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other Mission management.
