Summary: Tavernonna is seeking a motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail during service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and values teamwork in the kitchen.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
  • Passion for cooking and working with fresh ingredients
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Tavernonna recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with daily kitchen prep, including sauces, vegetables, proteins, and pasta preparation
  • Maintain consistency and attention to detail in plating and presentation
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members during service
  • Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns to kitchen leadership
  • Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen maintenance duties
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
