About The Position

We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

Requirements

• Master of Library and Information Science Degree from an ALA-accredited institution or currently in school for a Master of Library Science or Master of Science Information Degree.

Nice To Haves

• Some customer service and library experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering questions and assisting with research in person and by telephone and with other technologies.
• Assisting library users in the use of print and on-line resources and in locating materials.
• Responding to routine problems that library users may encounter with computers, printers, copiers, software and other technology.
• Maintaining currency regarding reference, research, and database sources.
• Performing other position specific functions as assigned.
• Opening and closing the library, as needed.
