The University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies and the Simulation Hospital provides several instructional courses and professional development workshops for healthcare students, trainees, and clinical professionals. As we expand the number and range of courses, we are able to offer, the School is seeking to develop a pool of per diem physician instructors to teach various didactic and/or simulation-based courses, on an as needed basis. Responsible for teaching professional development programs of instruction to students, trainees, and/or clinical professionals, within areas of expertise, in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Participates in the preparation of lesson plans, evaluation and may monitor student's performance. Additionally, the incumbent monitors the effectiveness of instruction offered and utilizes advanced skills and knowledge to enhance student learning and participation. Participates in the course development, provides input on the curriculum needs, program goals, and requirements. Participates in discussions/and reviews of quality improvements
