About the Opportunity About the Opportunity Boston The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure track part time faculty lecturer in Bachelor of Science in Analytics. The successful candidate will teach on-campus and online undergraduate level courses in the Bachelor of Science in Analytics. This position is located at the Northeastern University Boston, MA, campus. Instructional areas included, but are not limited to, analytics, with particular expertise in data exploration and data engineering, probability and statistics, machine learning, data visualization, database management systems, data mining, and predictive analytics. The Bachelor of Professional Studies in Analytics program aims to foster foundational analytics skills among working professionals, including data preparation, data analysis, transformations, modeling, prediction, forecasting, optimization, data-driven decision-making, data visualization, data storytelling, and related subjects, as well as the relevant tools and technologies. This degree prepares students for entry and mid-level roles in analytics, machine learning, data science, and data engineering. These roles are general to any professional domain (e.g., biomedical, healthcare, finance and insurance, robotics, government, education, etc.) or discipline (e.g., business, marketing, engineering, etc.). The degree is deeply rooted in experiential learning that is closely linked to professional applications in the workforce.
