About The Position
The Part-Time Leasing Agent position at McCullough Development, Inc. is designed to assist the Property Manager with the daily operations of the property, focusing primarily on leasing apartments and fostering positive tenant relations. In this role, the Leasing Agent will greet and assist residents, develop a comprehensive understanding of the rental application process, and maintain knowledge of rental policies and lease terms. The agent will be responsible for showing apartments to prospective tenants, scheduling appointments, preparing leases, and maintaining resident files. Additionally, the Leasing Agent will handle maintenance requests, advertise available apartments, and conduct competitor analysis through secret shopping. The position also involves conducting check-ins for new residents and assisting with property inspections and turnovers, particularly during peak leasing seasons. The Leasing Agent will participate in ongoing training and perform various property-related tasks, such as posting notices, preparing newsletters, and planning resident events. The role requires a friendly, customer-service-oriented personality, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic sales experience are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. The position may require working on weekends as needed, particularly for apartment showings.
