About The Position

Primrose School of North Meridian is looking for a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, child-centered environment and wants a consistent daytime schedule.

Position Details:

· Hours:
o 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

· Pay: $16–$17 per hour (based on experience)

· Schedule Perks:

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Must be able to pass required background checks
• Food handler’s permit (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily meal and snack preparation
• Supporting safe food handling and sanitation practices
• Cleaning and organizing the kitchen and food prep areas
• Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining inventory as needed
• Following all health and safety guidelines
