Schedule: Part-time (24 hours/week), Sundays/Saturdays-day shift, Tuesdays/Thursdays-closing shift Responsible, under the guidance of the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Practice Manager/Coordinator, for the upkeep and successful operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, cleaning, and inventory management. You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Food handler’s or food manager certificate
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, which may include working occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of all meals and snacks; read and follow recipes for food preparation
  • Ensure kitchen is appropriately stocked and cleaned per Health Department and Joint Commission standards
  • Maintain kitchen supply inventory and communicate regarding ordering needs
  • Grocery shopping
  • Receive shipments of supplies and store following FIFO standards
  • Follow food preparation standards and food safety guidelines as required by local/state/federal agencies
  • Other duties as assigned.
