With oversight and training from the PI, this position will deliver the FamLit intervention and attention-control interventions. Assigned to deliver the FamLit intervention to patients and care partners in the initial in-person session and phone booster sessions. The study staff will receive extensive training (and re-training) in delivering FamLit intervention/attention-only before implementing the study and communicate with the PI on a weekly basis regarding any issues encountered during the intervention sessions. This position will also learn the basics of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP); collaborate and consult with other health professionals in study participation and to ensure protocol compliance; and other duties as assigned. This person will communicate with the principal investigator and project coordinator regarding any issues encountered during intervention delivery (and other assigned study activities, if needed). This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon the continued funding of the grant.
