Part-Time Interventionist K-8
About The Position
The Barnard School in South Hampton is actively seeking a qualified candidate for the part-time Interventionist position. This person provides small-group and individualized Tier 2 academic interventions in ELA and Mathematics for students identified through the MTSS/SST process, collaborates with classroom teachers to align interventions with core instruction and ensures continuity of learning. This position also utilizes data from assessments to plan, implement and adjust targeted instruction, maintains ongoing progress monitoring and uses results to inform instructional decisions. Communicating student growth to the MTSS/SST position, supporting students in developing academic habits, self-monitoring skills and perseverance in learning tasks, participating in SST and grade-level data meetings to discuss student progress, instructional strategies and next steps for support are required for this position as well as effective communication with teachers, families and administrators regarding student progress and strategies for continued support is key to this position. NH certification is required.
