About The Position

The Landscape Architecture Program is accepting applications for Part-Time Instructors. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach landscape architecture courses delivered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design. The maximum teaching load varies from 1-2 courses per semester. The Landscape Architecture Program supports over 55 undergraduate majors along with students from other majors taking landscape architecture courses as electives.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline with at least one professional degree in landscape architecture at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.

Responsibilities

• teaching face-to-face landscape architecture courses
• participating in data collection and assessment of student learning
• submitting teaching materials as part of semester review
