About The Position
The Department of Chemistry, School of Arts and Sciences-Newark, Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), seeks a part-time instructor for Summer 2025 (Session I, May 27, 2025-July 3, 2025) to teach Organic Chemistry II. The successful candidate will cover the full range of duties associated with teaching, including, but not limited to, preparing course material; creating and posting a course syllabus; presenting material during the assigned course times; holding office hours and providing appropriate out-of-class time for students; responding to student e-mails; conducting and grading assessments of students through assignments, exams, and other means, in a timely manner; and submitting final grades. Overview The School of Arts and Sciences-Newark ( SASN ) is a place where exploration, discovery, and imagination come together to form the core of a liberal arts education.
