About The Position

Dependable Health Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Home Health Medical Scheduler to join our Las Vegas team. This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling in-home medical visits while maintaining clear communication with patients, care providers, and internal staff. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior medical scheduling experience in a home health or hospice setting (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient records management
• Proficiency with scheduling software and EMR systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Kinnser scheduling platform (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate in-home patient visits in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate with patients, care providers, and healthcare professionals to confirm visit details
• Confirm, reschedule, and adjust appointments as needed
• Manage schedules for multiple care providers
• Prioritize urgent visits and address late arrivals or no-shows
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment and patient records
• Update patient information within electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Respond professionally to phone calls and emails in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to support high-quality patient care
