About The Position
NORTH CANTON CITY SCHOOLS Certificated Personnel Job Postings Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of January 9, 2026, until filled. Part-Time Gifted Teacher Building: North Canton Intermediate School Approximately 1 to 2 hours per day (every morning during each school day) Effective Dates: Starting sometime during the last two weeks of January, if possible, and running through the end of the school year Responsibilities include teaching an enrichment curriculum in a small group setting to 4 th -grade students identified as gifted
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid Ohio Teacher's license that certifies them to teach students in 4th grade
Nice To Haves
- A Gifted Intervention Specialist endorsement is preferred
- For candidates who do not possess a Gifted Intervention Specialist endorsement, it is preferred that they have experience teaching gifted or high-achieving students
