Explore more about the college here . Job Description: Albertus Magnus College invites applications for part-time faculty to teach courses in Philosophy & Religion. The successful candidate will teach courses, plan and deliver curriculum in classrooms, laboratories, and/or practicums, ensuring that students acquire essential skill sets and objectives stated in departmental course outlines. Instruction should be meaningful and assessment-based so students may be observed and evaluated. Monitor the students' progress, keep grade records, and provide relevant assessment data to the department on time. Use appropriate terminology and technology to communicate with students and provide academic support. Comply with the College’s policies and procedures. Maintain a positive and professional learning environment for students.

Requirements

  • The minimum qualification for teaching at Albertus Magnus College is a conferred master’s degree within the applicable field of study.
  • additional qualifications and certifications may be required for specific courses, and all degrees must be from accredited colleges/universities
  • Faculty are required to have experience teaching and using learning management systems, email, and Video Conferencing Systems, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite of products
