About The Position
Shoreline Community College is seeking an experienced QA Machinist Instructor to teach students the principles and applications of quality assurance in machining. This role will provide hands-on instruction in precision measurement, inspection techniques, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), quality control methodologies and management systems used in modern manufacturing. The instructor will be responsible for developing coursework, instructing students in classroom and lab settings, and ensuring graduates are prepared for careers in manufacturing, aerospace, and related industries. Faculty at Shoreline will have an array of students from differing programs in their classroom, including professional technical and university transfers. Shoreline seeks a candidate that can identify and mitigate the barriers to success that many students face and be passionate about creating an equitable learning environment that supports success for all students.
